In the spring of each year I try to grow sunflowers in my back yard. When they bloom, I try to get out there and paint them as much as possible. Last year, no sooner had they bloomed, then a hale storm came through and destroyed them. ( Real Bummer) This year we are having a drought. ( Double Bummer )

These sunflowers are dynamic. Wasn't the top one on display at the Davie show and in the local newspaper? Are you one of the Davie painters? I'm unable to access your "About Me' part of the site.

We were in Michigan this past summer and was in awe when we passed an entire farm of sunflowers. I don't remember why we didn't stop to take a picture!!
